Choosing the Number of Needles and Depth to Suit the Skin

One of three frequencies is chosen to suit the skin condition, and the number of needles that enter at once is also decided.
The depth to which the needles enter is adjusted to the skin thickness and the concern being addressed, and heat is delivered at that depth.

The DEEP RF Handpiece Cools and Protects the Skin Surface

While the DEEP RF handpiece delivers heat to the target layer the needles reach, a cooling plate cools the skin surface to protect the epidermis.

The needle depth is adjusted within 0.1~4.0mm in steps of 0.1mm.

  • How is Virtue RF different from radiofrequency delivered from the skin surface?

    Virtue RF is a needle radiofrequency treatment that delivers radiofrequency directly into the dermis through microneedles. Needle depth and frequency are adjusted to suit your skin condition, and it addresses pores, acne scars, and skin elasticity.

  • Can it be used on thin skin such as the eyelids or around the eyes?

    On the thin skin of the eyelids and around the eyes, the needle depth is set shallower and the treatment is performed to improve elasticity.

  • How is the skin surface protected during treatment?

    When the DEEP RF handpiece is used, a cooling plate cools the skin surface. Three frequencies, 0.5MHz, 1MHz, and 2MHz, and 12-pin or 36-pin needles are chosen to suit your skin condition.

  • Is Virtue RF sometimes combined with Juvelook?

    To address pores, scars, and skin texture, a skin booster such as Juvelook Skin is sometimes used together with it. Virtue RF is a device that delivers radiofrequency, while Juvelook is an injected product, so their roles differ. Whether to combine them is decided based on your skin condition and the change you want.

  • Can I have the treatment while I have acne breakouts?

    Treatment is restricted if you have active acne, a tendency to form keloids, or a pacemaker in your body. Treatment is restricted during pregnancy or if there is inflammation, a wound, or a skin condition in the treatment area.

  • Will my skin turn red or form scabs after treatment?

    Temporary redness, warmth, and swelling may occur, and in most cases these improve within a few days. Fine scabs may form for a few days. Other side effects may rarely occur; we explain them in detail during your consultation before treatment.
