Clarity II, Recommended For
- Those whose cheeks flush easily and show visible thread veins
- Those with melasma and dark spots as well as blackheads
- Those who want to refine their pores and skin texture

How It Works and How It Is Performed

Shallow Pigment and Deep Fine Blood Vessels Are Treated Separately
The 755nm laser acts on melanin pigment, and the 1064nm laser, which reaches deeper, acts on fine blood vessels and pigment.
It also addresses pores, skin texture, and redness.

The Number of Toning Sessions Depends on Skin Response
Rather than finishing in one session, we recommend continuing at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks.
The number of sessions needed varies depending on the type of pigmentation and your skin's response.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Clarity II address both pigmentation and redness?
Clarity II is a device that uses two wavelengths, 755nm and 1064nm, to address pigmentation, blood vessels, and redness separately. Because conditions that look similar on the surface can have different causes, we first examine the lesion and then choose the wavelength and settings.
I'm deciding between PicoSure and Clarity II. Which should I choose?
PicoSure is a device that breaks pigment into fine particles with a picosecond laser, so it is used for melasma, dark spots, tattoos, scars, and pores, while Clarity II uses two wavelengths to address redness and blood vessels as well. We first identify the type of lesion before choosing the device, and if needed, use the two devices separately according to purpose.
Is one toning session enough?
At LOERE, we advise receiving toning regularly at 1–2 week intervals. The number of sessions needed varies with the type of pigmentation and your skin's response, so we do not set the same number of sessions for everyone from the start.
Is gel applied during treatment? Does it hurt?
The sensation varies with the wavelength and settings, so we explain it during your consultation. The laser is fired while cryogen cooling protects the skin surface, without gel.
What kind of treatment is Genesis?
Genesis is a treatment that uses Clarity II to address pores, skin texture, and redness.
Are there cases in which I cannot have the treatment?
Please let us know in advance if you have recently tanned heavily or had intense UV exposure, or if you are taking photosensitizing medication. Treatment is restricted during pregnancy or if there is inflammation, a wound, or a skin condition in the treatment area. If you do not protect your skin from UV after treatment, pigmentation may become darker.
Will my skin turn red or swell after treatment?
Temporary redness, warmth, and swelling may occur, and in most cases these improve within a few days. Other side effects may rarely occur; we explain them in detail during your consultation before treatment.
