How It Works and How It Is Performed

Helping the Skin Produce Its Own Collagen

Juvelook's PDLLA is a particle made to dissolve evenly within the skin, and while it dissolves it helps collagen and elastic fibers form.
Because it takes time for collagen to form, change appears gradually.

Skin and Volume Types Are Used Separately

The Skin type addresses pores, scars, and skin texture, and the Volume type is used to fill sunken areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between Juvelook Skin and Juvelook Volume?

The Skin type is used to address pores, scars, and skin texture, and the Volume type to address volume in hollow areas. Although both are Juvelook, their purposes and treatment areas differ, so we first determine whether you want to refine skin texture or fill hollow areas.

  • Does Juvelook Volume fill out right away after one session?

Juvelook works by having PDLLA stimulate collagen production, so an immediate change in volume is hard to expect, and the degree of change may vary from person to person. At LOERE, we advise 3 sessions at 4-week intervals as the standard, and adjust the plan based on your skin condition and progress.

  • Does the Skin type also require massage after treatment?

The Skin type does not require massage after treatment. The Volume type requires gentle massage for a few days after treatment to prevent clumping.

  • Is it sometimes combined with Virtue RF or Mirajet?

The Skin type is sometimes combined with Virtue RF or Mirajet to address pores, scars, and skin texture. Whether to combine them is decided based on your skin condition and the change you want.

  • Can volume also be added to the forehead or under the eyes?

The Volume type is not used on the forehead or under the eyes.

  • Are there cases in which I cannot have the treatment?

Treatment is restricted if you have a tendency to form keloids. Treatment is restricted if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have inflammation or infection in the treatment area.

  • Will I have swelling or bruising after treatment?

Bruising, swelling, and stiffness may occur, and in most cases these improve within 1–2 weeks. Other side effects may rarely occur; we explain them in detail during your consultation before treatment.
