ONDA, Recommended For
- Those who have developed a double chin from sagging under the jaw
- Those with fat concentrated in specific areas such as the abdomen or upper arms
- Those who want to reduce fat while also tightening sagging skin

How It Works and How It Is Performed

Microwave Acts on Fat Cells
Microwave acts selectively on fat cells to help reduce localized fat.
The fibrous partitions that divide the fat also contract, which may help tighten the skin.

Deep-Layer and Shallow-Layer Applicators Are Used Separately
The two applicators are used separately to suit the area and concern, addressing localized fat, cellulite, and sagging skin, including under the chin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does ONDA work the same way as ultrasound lifting?
ONDA is a device that uses 2.45GHz microwaves, not focused ultrasound. It addresses localized fat, cellulite, and skin elasticity, using deep-layer and shallow-layer handpieces to suit the area.
Is ONDA used not only on the face but also on the abdomen or upper arms?
It is used not only on the double chin and jawline but also on areas of localized fat such as the abdomen or upper arms. We check the fat thickness and elasticity of each area to decide the treatment range and handpiece.
I'm deciding between ONDA and fat-dissolving injections. Which should I choose?
ONDA is a device treatment that uses microwaves to help improve localized fat and skin elasticity, while fat-dissolving injection is an injection treatment that delivers medication. We look at your body shape and skin elasticity, then choose between a device and an injection.
How often should I have the treatment?
It is usually received once every 3 months, at least 1 month apart. Because the degree of change may vary from person to person, the plan is decided based on the area and your progress.
Are there cases in which I cannot have the treatment, or anything I should prepare in advance?
Please let us know during your consultation which areas have previously been treated with filler or a thread lift, and when. If the same area was treated, the treatment is performed after 2 months have passed. For facial treatment, earrings and necklaces are removed. Treatment is restricted during pregnancy or if there is inflammation, a wound, or a skin condition in the treatment area.
Will my skin turn red or swell after treatment?
Temporary redness, warmth, and swelling may occur, and in most cases these improve within a few days. Other side effects may rarely occur; we explain them in detail during your consultation before treatment.
