Product and Dosage Are Decided Through Consultation

Even for the same area, the suitable product and amount differ depending on the look you want.
We use both imported and Korean-made products.

Formulations Are Chosen by Area

A soft formulation is used for the lips, while a formulation less prone to clumping is used under the eyes to suit the thin skin.
A firm formulation that supports the contours is used for the nose and chin, while a volume-restoring formulation is used for broader areas such as the forehead, temples, cheeks, and nasolabial folds.
For fine lines, a soft formulation is injected superficially.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the same filler used for the lips and the nose?

Because each area needs a different viscosity and degree of support, different formulations are used. For the lips, we consider a soft formulation; for the nose and chin, a formulation that supports the line; and for under the eyes, a formulation for thin skin with less clumping.

  • How long does filler last?

Depending on the product, it lasts about 6–12 months for Korean-made products and about 12–18 months for imported products. It may vary from person to person and also differs with the area and the amount injected. We explain this together with the product to be used during your consultation.

  • Can the under-eye area also be filled with filler?

For the under-eye area, we consider a formulation for thin skin with less clumping. Based on the degree of hollowness and skin thickness, we compare whether filler is suitable or whether another method, such as a collagen-stimulating injection, is a better fit.

  • Can filler be dissolved if needed?

The hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers used at LOERE can be broken down with hyaluronidase when needed. Not every type of injected material dissolves this way, so please tell us the name of any product you received before and the area treated.

  • Which products do you use?

At LOERE, we use both imported and Korean-made products. The doctor personally selects the product and amount according to the area and the look you want, and does not use an excessive amount. Products are opened in front of the patient.

  • Are there cases in which I cannot have the treatment?

Treatment is restricted if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have inflammation or infection in the treatment area.

  • Will I have swelling or bruising after treatment?

Bruising, swelling, and a foreign-body sensation may occur; they are strongest on days 2–3 and gradually improve. Other side effects may rarely occur; we explain them in detail during your consultation before treatment.
